Finish the book. Take notes of the narrator´s view on parents, on upbringing, on school/education, on reading/books, on genders etc - give exact examples from the book. Note if the narrator uses ironi or other ways to state his opinion.

Make a prediction of how you think Miss Honey´s cottage will look like, make a detailed drawing.Then take notes of Miss Honey´s cottage and discuss the differences between the predicted pictures and the actual cottage.
