Preparing and Presenting Power Point on Darkling Beetles.

What started with a chapter, Freaky Flavours, and the tasting of mealworms, evolved into a scientific journey to the life of the Darkling Beetle, the adult stage of the mealworm. The pupils have learned scientific vocabulary in order to understand and explain the details of the work, from classification of insects and beetles in general to characterisation of the Darkling Beetle´s anatomy, habitat, diet, behaviour and, of course, some fun facts about defence mechanisms. The oral presentations were both informational and fascinating. Well done all of you!
